Frequently Asked Questions
1) How do I know you will be a good fit for my needs?
Stacy offers a free 15 minute consultation for you to share about what you are looking for in a therapist and to ask questions about her services. Together, you will decide if her services and availability are a good fit for your needs. Therapy is not a once size fit all experience, so there is no pressure during these consultations to continue services. If you are interested in scheduling a consultation please reach out at the email or phone number listed below.
2) I am a parent seeking services for my child. Is telehealth appropriate for my kid?
It depends! Telehealth is not a good fit for all children (or adults!) Most therapeutic interventions can be effectively modified for a virtual environment. For very young children, play therapy modalities can be amended to accommodate telehealth, but may require more parent involvement than an in-person session.
3) What is your availability?
Stacy is available on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings and has some limited weekend availability.
If you or your child are in need of more extensive support than a weekly therapy appointment, you may be better served by a more intensive therapeutic program such as In-Home Therapy through the Child Behavioral Health Initiative.
4) How do I schedule an appointment?
If you are interested in scheduling a consultation or starting services, please contact Stacy at stacy@snltherapy.com or 978-662-2411. From there, you will be asked to complete a brief screener and intake paperwork to schedule your first appointment.
5) Are there any presenting concerns that you do not treat?
Stacy specializes in trauma, grief and anxiety. Unfortunately, she is not able to treat all presenting concerns and may refer you to another provider if she does not believe her clinical experience matches your needs after your consultation call.
